A new year brings new challenges. (I promise to post a real update soon) This week is hard for me, because Seth's Grandma Nuttall passed away last Sunday. So we were asked to write our memories so here they are.
(us with Grandma Nuttall summer 2011)
My best memories of Grandma are the times I would hide from her to scare her. I always remember the time that I got banned from scarring her. We had come home from church and I ran into the house and changed my clothes and hid under a chair by the kitchen door. Grandma came in and started cooking, and soon she came into the front room wondering where I was. She asked around and began to search for me. She went into the kitchen and came back out, and when she walked past me that time I reached out and grabbed her ankle and said "Boo". She jumped and screamed, and everyone told me that that was the end of scarring Grandma. I also remember the times she would make breakfast for us kids, and she would make a pancake into whatever we wanted it to be.
Love you,
Seth
Grandma Nuttall,
Even though I only got to meet you and visit with you three times in person, I feel like you have been my Grandma forever. You were always so caring and loving. I loved the times when we came to visit and you would have a new little something for me that you were so excited to show me. I will forever cherish the times that I got to spend in the kitchen cooking with you, visiting with you and even going shopping with you. You were such a woman of honor and a valiant servant to our Savior. I know you touched so many lives where ever you went because there was always someone that knew you. I am so excited that you get to be with Grandpa again, and know that that reunion was a joyful one. Thank you for always checking up on us and for always caring about us. We love you and miss you greatly.
Love you,
Lizzy

Great Grandma Nuttall,
I am so happy that I got to meet you and play at your house. I always loved sending the marbles down the track and hitting the sides with you when they would get stuck. I love that you never cared how much water I put in cups only to drink less than half before putting more in, and I love how you always came up with some fun games to do like the time that you held your arms out for the basketball hoop. My mom still tells me about the second time we came down to visit and I was 2 and you made a basketball hoop out of a coat hanger and tried to show me how to stand by Grandpa and throw the ball in to the coat hanger you were holding and I would always run up and throw it in right by you. And then there is the first time we came to visit you and I was only one and just starting to walk and I used the spinning chair to walk around all week long. I am so glad I got to help put Great Grandpa's plaque in while we were there. I love you Great Grandma.
Love you,
Jimmy

Great Grandma Nuttall,I know I only met you once but I am so happy that my mom and dad have pictures to show me of the fun times we had. I always loved dumping the toys out all over your front room and giving you multiple cars to hold at one time. I always loved being like Jimmy and filling up cups of water to only drink a little bit because using your water dispenser was so much fun. My mom still tells me about when we were there and how Jimmy and I liked to spin on the chair that Jimmy liked to walk around when he was little, and how everyone would laugh at how funny we walked after we were spun around. I am so happy that we have pictures of when we were there to remember you by. I also loved how you let me help you and my mom in the kitchen. I love you Great Grandma.
Love you,
Blake
