Pictures...Finally!

Here are the pictures as promised

Squirts latest fun is if I pull the camera out to take a picture of Peanut he says "Take a Picture of me too Mommy"

Peanut having fun in his bouncy seat.

Squirt right before his surgery to see about his allergies.

(in case you missed the earlier post they didn't find anything.)

Squirt loves playing with his brother.

Squirts latest thing to do with pictures is he says cheese and is looking at the camera until one second before you take the picture. That's why he has a weird look on his face.

Squirt as "Dash" from the Incredibles at our Ward Halloween Party

(I haven't been able to take a picture of Peanut in his pumpkin yet)

Peanut getting a bath the morning of his blessing.
Yes he is in the Kitchen sink.

Squirt eating plain cereal while Peanut is getting his bath.

Peanuts bath again. Look closely, yes he has the washcloth in a tight grip, it took Grandma Rosie a little while to get it back.

All 4 of us on Peanuts blessing day.

Our 2 cute boys.

This is a tree by where we live and on Peanuts blessing day Squirt was mad that Grandma and Grandpa Quack(my in-laws) didn't take him with them so he sat in this tree until they came. (yes Daddy was always right by him)

The four of us at a local farm. We are sitting in front of one of the 2 big duck ponds.

Squirt on Daddy's shoulders.

Squirt saying Cheese.

Our cute Peanut.

The lovely temper tantrum of a 3yr old.

Sitting on the couch getting ready for Day Care.

So when Grandma Rosie is over and only Peanut needs a bath she gives him one in the sink. Well last night was one of those nights, at least that is what she and I thought. Squirt and I were eating dinner when I said "Do you want to go take a bath?" and he said "YEAH!" So I got him out of his booster seat and thought we were headed to the bathroom when he said "No Mommy I take a bath Here(pointing at the sink)" then I said "Like brother did?" and he said "Yeah" Big thanks to Grandma Rosie for helping with this, even if it won't happen at my house again. (our sink is too small for a big 3yr old.)

3 things I am grateful for:

1 - Squirt - for making me laugh by taking a bath in the sink.

2 - My mom - for all her help over the many years of my life.

3 - For all of my family - including extended family. Thank you for the strength you have been to us.

Catching up.

So first I need to say happy late birthday to my niece. Her birthday was the 20th of last month. I totally meant to post a happy birthday post on her birthday but I forgot to so Happy Birthday Princess!! Secondly I want to say Happy Late Birthday to my Mom (aka Grandma Rosie) I know that Jimmy had fun being the first to tell you happy birthday. Thanks for being such a wonderful mom and a great role model. Happy Birthday!

Next I want to tell my brother and sister-in-law Happy Anniversary. You two are an amazing example to me and I really appreciate it.

Squirt is now at that stage that he wants who ever is not around when he is having a tantrum. Last night that just so happened to be Grandma Rosie. He called her and in full tears and sniffling he told her that he wanted his Grandma here now. So lucky for him she braved the freezing cold temperature at 9pm to come over. Well when she got here he was all better because he knew that he would have more time awake. Thank you Grandma for coming over!!

I love my moms older sister she has always been so nice to me, as has my moms other siblings but my moms older sister has fought Ovarian Cancer, and now just recently Breast Cancer. After her last round of radiation she got really, really sick and wasn't able to come to peanuts blessing. Then this weekend she and my mom and their other sister and my grandma all went to this Creche Convention and everything was going well when my grandma fell and majorly bruised her hand. They got home Saturday night, My moms older sister and my Grandma got home Sunday and My aunt just had to go above and beyond my Grandma's fall. You know how you know how many steps are in your home?? Well she does too but when your body goes on auto pilot and you have just recently moved sometimes knowing that your new house has one more step than your old house is very important... Yes my aunt thought that she was at the bottom of the stairs and took the step to turn while carrying boxes to her basement. She broke her ankle in 3 places, She just had surgery today and is still in a lot of pain. To my sweet aunt I want you to know that you have shown me, and taught me more than you will ever know. I really appreciate it and hope you can stop being the patient now. You are one of my Hero's and I love you.

Well that is all for now I hope to do a picture post tomorrow.

The 3 things I am grateful for:

1 - My husband and the fact that he helps a lot around the house even when he works long hours.

2 - Snow - because it is fun to make snowballs for Squirt to throw. (luckily he hasn't thrown any at me)

3 - For my many trials in life that only make me stronger and able to help more people.

New updates about Squirt and Peanut.

Lots has been happening but just a quick update for now (I promise pictures will be coming soon.)

Squirt's surgery went well - can I just tell you that a 3 year old on anti anxiety meds can get really loopy and it is so funny, especially when he laughs at himself.
They did multiple biopsies but they didn't find anything, no allergy cells for the dairy issues, no signs of sugar absorption issues. Nothing. It is frustrating because now the doctor told us since we didn't find anything that we should just stay away from it for 6 months then try again. If he still has a problem wait another six months, and he should hopefully grow out of it between the ages of 5 and 7.
Yes the joys of hiding cheese from my son and trying to tell him why he can't have cereal with the milk that mom and dad use. (yes that was sarcastic)

Peanut has had 2 ear infections now, one right after the other. Can I tell you how much prescriptions cost when you don't have money because you are paying multiple hospital bills. Hopefully the ear infections will stop after this one so that he doesn't have to be like his brother and get ear tubes. He is growing up so much though, his normal morning routine is wake up at 5 am - yes 5am - and then I get ready for the day while we talk (ok I talk and he coos and smile and laugh) unfortunately Squirt has gotten up the last few mornings at 6 so no extra rest for me.

Anyway that is about it for now. My husband went full time with his job on Nov. 1st, yea for more money to pay off all the bills.

3 things I am grateful for:
1 - the moon - Squirt looks for it every morning, and it is so cute when he finds it.
2 - Peanut - even though he wakes up early his smiles and coos make it worth it.
3 - Friends - those who touch my life and those who let me touch theirs.
