Squirt updates!

So the surgery went well, they didn't see any allergy spots but that is why they do biopsies so hopefully by Tuesday of next week we should know about his milk issues and by the end of next week we should know about his sugar absorption issues. We are really hoping that we will get some answers but if not we will try to work through it. I will post some pre surgery pictures that I took later. Just thought I would let you all know what is happening with him right now. Oh and can I tell you when he is drugged up with anti anxiety meds he is so funny! I will explain more later but now I need to get to bed.

Squirts Surgery Today!

So Squirt has surgery today to hopefully find our more about his allergy issues with dairy products. I really hope the dr is able to find what he needs to so that we can get more help with what he can and can't eat. I will post pictures of Squirt later. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

New pictures of Peanut.(and Squirt)

So my husband was making Peanut laugh and I wanted to take a picture but Squirt jumped in and said no mom take picture of me. So I did.

Doesn't Squirt look so cool in his batman jammies?

Daddy kept leaning him back but he was laughing.

Squirt loves to take baths with Peanut and he loves to put his bath water into Peanuts bath.
Sometimes we have to bail out Peanuts bath so it doesn't get to full.

Don't you just love the little dimple in his chin.
He gets that from his daddy.

This was when he was smiling in his jammies just before he cried because he was hungry

Isn't he just so cute. I love his fluffy hair after bath time.

Yes his jammies say "Daddy's my HERO"

Peanut, Squirt and Grandma Rosie.
The three things I am greatful for this week,
1. getting 4 hours of sleep in our bed last night(thank you sweetie for staying up with the baby)
2. for Squirt who always finds ways to make me smile and laugh each day.
3.For Peanut, because I love the cuddle time he lets me have with him.

Fun times and new pictures of Peanut!

Lots has happened lately...

Big news we have changed the blessing date. Grandpa Rosie will be out of town in 2 weeks so we have decided to change the blessing date to November 1st. Call me or email me for details. No excuse now E. you won't be on your honeymoon.

1st thing is that my husband is no longer part time!!! Yes they moved him to full time! This is big news for our budget and our plans for the future. We hope to get a bigger car soon. We have to save up the money first. It will take awhile as we still have to pay off hospital bills from when Peanut was born first.

2nd is that Squirt is the best big brother ever! He has no jealousy, just love for his little brother! He is so cute, he loves to bonk noses with Peanut and give him kisses. He also loves to hold him until he starts to cry.

He loves to lay by Peanut!

3rd Peanut is growing up so much so fast. I am really sorry to those of you who follow this blog that I don't put more pictures on here but here is a few.

The outfit above is a size 3-6 month they are just a little big on him but not much.

He loves his brother even when he is crying.

They love to take baths together.

At times we just need to vent...

Ok so be warned that I have kind of been having a little pitty party for myself lately. There has been lots of stress, lots of worries, and lots of fun.

First off...can I just tell you how much I dislike Doctor appointments!!! Why is the health insurance so bad that you have to pay a co-pay at each visit??? and Why is it that I cram doctors appointments into a 2 week period that is between pay periods? I am happy, excited, nervous and stressed about Squirts appointment this coming Thursday. We are meeting with a pediatric GI Doctor to see if he can shed some more light on Squirts milk issues. I hope we find out lots.

Second... I can't believe that Peanut is 6 weeks old today!! I seems like just yesterday I had him in the hospital. Oh and for those of you who read this you are welcome to come to his blessing, on October 11th and/or stop by the house after church to visit. Just call or email me or comment on here and I will give you the details that you need.

Third...Why when you are majorly tight on money, wondering how you are going to pay 2 kids daycare expenses, plus rent, co-pays, and other necessities, is it that everything goes wrong. Why does your husband come home from work to find a screw in your tire and it costs $160 to pay for 2 new tires because there was another tire that was getting bad.

Fourth... Why is it that when you need a friend to come and take you out somewhere, is it that none do come. (maybe they are too busy or they have other plans) And when you try to get them to go out with you they are busy, have other plans, don't answer emails, etc. But yet when you know that someone needs some time to be with friends and you just tell them they are going with you they thank you randomly for a few months, for seeing their need and acting upon it. Don't get me wrong I love my friends, especially my husband, and Kasi I can't wait to have a girls night with you! I am stoked!

Ok so I thank all of you for letting me have my pitty party for myself. Now I must go and get some sleep so I can make it through tomorrow.

Lots happening!

A lot has happened since the last time I blogged.

My husband started his job this week (well he started his 6 weeks of training.) Hooray!! He has had to adjust to waking up at 5 some mornings.

My mom (Grandma Rosie) has had fun playing Grandma in the mornings, she has been taking the mornings off of work and been playing with Peanut.

Squirt gave us a scare on Thursday, I don't know how many of you know, but we have known for a while that Squirt has some type of allergy or intolerance to milk/Dairy. He doesn't get hives or anything like that, it just makes his bum get a bad rash that even opens up and gets bloody. Well on Thursday my mom and I went to get him from daycare and he was playing outside and he usually runs right out to me but on Thursday he sat down by the fence, I didn't think much of it, and I went in and signed him out and by the time I got back outside he was trying to get out of the fence and was crying. Ok so now may be a good time to tell you that Squirt doesn't cry over something like that. So I helped him get back out and by the time we got in Grandma Rosie's car he was repeatedly saying "I want my mommy" and he was grabbing his stomach. So we hurried home and Daddy helped us get inside and Squirt just kept crying and crying and grabbing his stomach so Daddy and I decided take him to the insta-care since our doctors office was booked for that night. We made it to insta-care and Squirt wasn't crying as much. And shortly after I got the paper work filled out Squirt wanted to sit on my lap. So I held him and then he started crying again and almost immediately started to throw up. Yep all over me, the burpie I had brought in, and the chair we were on. Many thanks to Daddy who went and grabbed the garbage can for us. Then daddy went and got the towel from the car since the receptionist wasn't helping us at all. And we finally went back to see the doctor about 5 minutes later. While we were seeing the doctor he threw up again. We didn't know what he had had at daycare that day but we noticed both times that there were remnants of meat and what looked like Cheese. Yes I know what some of you are thinking "you know your son has a problem with dairy products and you don't tell the daycare..." - but I have told daycare they even have a sign in the kitchen that says "Squirt", No Dairy! trust me I know I have seen it. So the doctor toyed with the idea of sending us to the children's hospital, but decided to let us go home and wait for about an hour and if he threw up again to take him to the hospital if he had diarrhea we could relax because that would me he just had a virus. Well we brought him home and really wanted to give him a blessing so we tried to call our home teachers but Thursday night was our ward temple night, and they were both going. So we called Grandpa Quack and he came over. My testimony was strengthened, again. Soon after the blessing Squirt was asleep in bed only occasionally coughing.

Then on Saturday we went over to my aunt's house to swim in her pool. It was loads of fun. Squirt even went down the slide 3 times by himself.(with daddy at the end to stop him from going in the water, because he has ear tubes.) note to self next time remember sunblock. My husband got burned the worst.

Then yesterday I hadn't planned to go to church I was in pants and a shirt as my husband and I were trying to get Squirt ready for church, when Squirt that he wasn't going if I wasn't going. So with only 10 minutes to the start of church, I hurried to change my clothes pack a bag for Peanut and we were out the door and only about 5 minutes late. I really needed the relief society lesson so thank you Squirt!!

This morning we went to breakfast with Grandma Quack. It has been an eventful week. Thank you too all of you who helped.
